FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

PRLog (Press Release)Oct 07, 2008 – Jamaica, New York - The Freeman Consulting Group presented their highly successful youth financial wellness workshops at the One Choice, One Voice teenage abstinence project for which they were honored at the September 5, 2008 Youth Rally. Pictured below at the award ceremony are center left & right program director Minister Denise Lawrence and her husband Mortimer Lawrence, Esq. of the law firm Hopkins, Lawrence & Bailey both flanked by The Freeman Consulting Group officers.

An integral part of this fresh approach to solving underage sexual activities is the Freeman Consulting Groups “youth financial empowerment” workshops, which are a continuing part of the program. Each year, influenced by a combination of a youthful assumption of invincibility and a lack of guidance (or misguidance and misleading information), millions of teens ignore many risks—sexual and financial, and suffer the consequences; says Patrick Freeman, President of The Freeman Consulting Group.

Teenage sexual activity is a major problem confronting the nation and has led to a rising incidence of sexually transmitted diseases (STDs), emotional and psychological injuries. Abstinence education programs for youth have been proven to be effective in reducing early sexual activity. Abstinence programs also can provide the foundation for personal responsibility and enduring marital commitment. Therefore, they are vitally important to efforts aimed not only at abstinence, but also at developing good financial habits. The combination is sure to improve the well-being and increase young adult happiness over the long term.

The Freeman Consulting Group has built a reputation as a leader within the community offering workshops, lectures on and off site to church organizations, community base programs and corporations.
