PRLog (Press Release) –
Oct 06, 2008 – Georgia's haunted attraction Camp Blood points out the value of group outings to fright fans who are looking to save fuel in the wake of the gas shortage - group tours!
Billed as a quarter mile of sheer terror as visitors walk (and indeed run) through the sometimes silent, yet deadly pine forest, Camp Blood is very unlike the standard walk and stumble attractions. Camp Blood’s guides take groups of visitors (up to 8) on a swamp tour where they find themselves walking, stopping, screaming, jumping, running, and cowering as they attempt to keep up with the sneaky guides and dodge the monsters. "We've always taken groups of visitors through the haunt with guides instead of letting folks stumble along one or two at a time," says Camp Blood Administrator Mark 'Atch' Atcheson. "This year, with gas shortages and high fuel prices, our visitors are really getting the value out of a gallon of gas by coming in vehicles that are packed with their group instead of driving invididually. With this year's addition of online ticketing, we've made it even easier for groups to plan before they arrive to get the most out of their trip." Camp Blood and Mabel's Bled & Breakfast are open Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights beginning October 2nd thru October 27th. The haunt is also open October 29th, 30th and 31st AND November 1st. The frights begin at 9pm and the haunt closes weeknights at 11pm and Fridays and Saturdays at midnight. For even more savings, Camp Blood offers a Thursday Night Special where visitors can bring 3 cans of food for the Manna House Ministries Food Pantry to get free admission to Mabel’s Bled and Breakfast (after paying to enter Camp Blood).
