Oct 03, 2008 – New York, NY – Richard J. Foster, President of Foster Construction Management, LLC, announced today the purchase of Unique Kitchen and Baths. The management and sales office will be located in Lake Success, NY. The company’s manufacturing facility is located in Jamaica, NY.

Company President at 16”), this acquisition will give Foster (now 19 years old), a 7500 sq. foot manufacturing facility to expand his current TIME for SPORTS™ division of personalized sports clocks into the major league sports arena. Foster has marketed his personalized sports clocks for the past five years at USTA (United States Tennis Association) events around the country as well as to the collegiate market. He is currently working with major league sports teams to expand that market in addition to corporate markets. Foster currently holds seven U.S. patents for his TIME for SPORTS products.
The acquisition of Unique Kitchen and Baths (a manufacturer of cabinetry and kitchen and bath renovations) will provide Foster with a venue into the construction marketplace for the launch of his newest invention for the construction industry. Foster has designed and invented a new door hinge. According to Ira Krause, owner of Weston Partners, Inc., and founder of the Business Growth Network, “Richard Foster’s innovative hinge is expected to revolutionize door installation by minimizing installation time, which will translate to reduced labor costs for contractors and construction companies.” Foster also plans to further expand Unique’s construction business into the commercial and healthcare fields.
Founded originally in 1997 as Richard Foster Construction, the TIME for SPORTS division was added in 2004. The TIME for SPORTS division has products in 15 countries worldwide. Unique Kitchen and Baths has been serving the New York metropolitan area for over 15 years. This acquisition merges these companies to operate under the new entity of Foster Construction Management, LLC.
