The School of great Soul/R&B singing IS back in Session!!!

PRLog (Press Release) – Oct 03, 2008 – Hello everybody,  I’m a ringin’ a bell to let you know that just when I thought  the School of GREAT SOUL SINGING was out forever; I was immediately corrected upon hearing the amazing voice of May Palmer, The Queen of Ivory Soul!! I was so blown away upon hearing her at this year’s 4th Annual Northgate Festival in early September in Seattle, Washington I just want to shout it from the roof tops!

It was plain to this woman’s ears and eyes that School was definitely back in session in the way Ms. Palmer commanded the stage during her concert in Seattle.  Let me tell you, this woman’s voice is so technically proficient with unbelievable power and virtuosity you are left marveling why haven’t more people heard of her?!

Her incredible voice, coupled with an earthy swagger and a willingness to leave it all out there on that stage left me feeling so grateful to have been in her audience!! May’s voice takes me back to true soul sistas like Aretha Franklin, Gladys Knight, Candi Staton, etc.,

After May’s performance, I simply had to let her know how much I loved her voice and the way she took control of that stage! I am happy to report that Ms. Palmer came across as very approachable which was absolutely refreshing to me.  I am seriously considering having her perform with her band for a corporate event I am organizing.
