Finders Keepers Hosts Three Day Bash to Celebrate Anniversaries

PRLog (Press Release) – Oct 03, 2008 – Finders Keepers Consignment Shops is hosting a three day birthday bash to celebrate the anniversaries of Furnishings and Boutique. Furnishings is celebrating five years while Boutique celebrates its one year anniversary. The celebration starts on Thursday, October 2, 2008 and ends on Saturday, October 4, 2008.

“We have been very blessed with the support and success that we have received over the years,” said Bonnie Kallenberg, Owner of Finders Keepers. “We could not have reached these milestones without the support of our loyal customers, so this celebration is a thank you to everyone that has supported us.”

Each Finders Keepers store will host one day of the event. The three day schedule is:
• Thursday, October 2, from noon to 8:00 p.m. refreshments at Furnishings
• Friday, October 3, until 9:00 p.m. first fall markdown and refreshments at Boutique
• Saturday,October 4, 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. first fall markdown and introduction of
 new reusable shopping bags at Fashions

All three stores for all three days will give customers an opportunity to take a "Birthday" card. In those three days, they have to visit all three stores and get a stamp on the birthday card from each store. Once they have all three stamps, customers take the birthday card to Fashions and the first 100 people to turn in their cards will receive an "Affordably Fashionable, Fashionably Green” reusable shopping bag, worth $20. Customers that bring in their cards following the first 100 will be put into a drawing for a bag and Finders Keepers will draw five more names, giving away a total of 105 bags. Reusable shopping bags may be purchased for $20 and customers who bring their bag with them to shop will receive an additional five-percent off their total purchase.

Since its establishment in September of 2003, Furnishings has become a favorite of designers, decorators, dealers, everyday shoppers and a few celebrities. Furnishings features 4,000 square feet of beautiful consignment home furnishings and décor priced to sell, with new items arriving daily. Established in October 2007, Finders Keepers Boutique has experienced great success in its first year and was recently named the Best Consignment Shop in Jezebel magazine’s Best of Shopping Atlanta feature. Boutique’s focus on designer apparel, allows customers the opportunity to wear designer labels without paying the price.

Finders Keepers has three consignment stores located in Avondale Estates and Decatur. The original store, Fashions, carries gently used clothing and accessories for men, women and kids. The Furnishings store carries consigned furniture and home décor from antique to contemporary. The newest store, Boutique, features designer and fashion forward apparel and accessories for women.
