Sep 29, 2008 – Anthony W. Dollarhide is the chief of police for the Texarkana Independent School District Police Department. He assumed this position in November of 2007, bringing nearly two decades of experience in law enforcement. Anthony started his career as a correctional officer, was promoted to a lieutenant for the district in 1997 and to assistant principal shortly thereafter. He is an esteemed member of the Texas Police Association and holds a master’s degree in educational administration from Texas A&M. Anthony is well known for his expertise and professionalism and credits his success to dedication and innate leadership ability. He aspires to continued growth within his field and is presently continuing his education. Anthony is equally committed to philanthropic undertakings and is widely admired for his support of the community. Off duty, Anthony enjoys riding his motorcycle and is a member of the local Motorcycle Club.
