PRLog (Press Release) – Apr 07, 2008 – We are introducing Jar-Med to the European market with confidence. Single use nonwovens in the medical sector is todays’ ultimate choice. Many healthcare companies, hospitals and surgeons are aware of the  advantages and the benefits that come with the use of  nonwoven fabrics that have excellent liquid resistance, tensile strength and hydrophobic/hydrophilic properties and cost efficiency in the long run.

Surgical drapes and gowns  are medical devices that are custom tailored with the desired nonwoven fabrics and are controlled by a harmonised European standard designated as EN 13795 which Jar-Med meets and even exceeds  some of the required  standards.

As you can see from our brochures, our laminations are either in double layers or triple layers consisting of your choice of fabric. Jar- Med is proud to provide its customers with different weights (gsm) with the preferred types of make, this can be either spunbond, chemicalbond or thermobond.
