PRLog (Press Release) –
Feb 19, 2008 – “We have never heard about something like that before here in Beijing!” says Ferry Rebergen, the sales manager of the Beijing Hutong School, about the origin of the idea.
Usually held in smart places for businessmen trying to further their scope of sales, networking events are rarely accessible for young interns looking to extend their network of contacts that can help them get started in Beijing. As a company specialized in introducing foreign interns to international or Chinese enterprises in Beijing, the Beijing Hutong School understands very well the difficulties met by these young men and women when approaching local firms.
Therefore the Beijing Hutong School came up with the idea of offering an International Interns Evening in cooperation with a partner bar in town, Club Obiwan. Everybody from interns and students to company representatives are given the opportunity to network and exchange experiences and contacts.
The second International Interns Evening will be held on Wednesday, February 20th, at 8.00 PM at Club Obiwan on Xihai Lake, just south of Jishuitan subway station. For more information please check the Beijing Hutong School website under www.hutong-school.com.
Bookings can be made under zhao.dan@hutongschool.com.
The Hutong School organizes internships in combination with Chinese classes for students, graduates and young professionals who want to gain working and living experience in China. We will organize an internship at a local or international company in Beijing, provide accommodation and teach you Chinese.
