Power Technology, Inc., a leader within the photonics industry for nearly forty years, will now be offering a 705nm Instrument Quality (IQ) laser module.

PRLog (Press Release)Feb 18, 2008 – Power Technology, Inc., a leader within the photonics industry for nearly forty years, will now be offering a 705nm Instrument Quality (IQ) laser module.  This product offering represents a significant introduction of a new and unique wavelength, as previously, wavelengths between 690nm and 730nm have not been available in a laser module.

Biomedical applications such as blood analysis, light source, and endoscopy can benefit from this infrared laser module’s high reliability, low operating current requirement, and high output power.

“We at Power Technology, Inc. are excited to offer a 705nm laser module, as this wavelength has not been available previously,” said Walter Burgess, VP of Sales and Engineering.  “This will further increase the range of products available for our customers to help them achieve success.”

Power Technology, Inc., established in 1969, designs, manufactures, and distributes laser diode products for OEM analytical, biomedical, and industrial applications. Products include laser diode modules with wavelengths from 370 to 1600nm, temperature stabilized modules, lasers with beam circularization, and CW, pulsed, and modulated lasers.
