PRLog (Press Release)May 08, 2007 – Purpose of the Forum:
to introduce the most successful cases of deployment of mobile broadcasting based on the standards DVB-H, DMB, etc. in Western Europe, Asia and America;
to discuss the current situation and the prospects of digital mobile broadcasting (DVB-H, DMB, etc) implementation in the countries of Eastern Europe and CIS.

Main questions to be discussed at the forum:

-   Presentation and analysis of the most successful cases of mobile TV deployment by the largest operators of Western Europe, Asia and America. Advantages and drawbacks of various mobile TV technologies with respect to application in Eastern Europe and CIS countries;
-   Updates and analysis on regulation and spectrum policy in the region of Eastern Europe and ex-USSR countries. Analysis of mobile TV development based on different standards in the region;
-   Market prospects for various mobile TV technologies in Eastern Europe. Lessons learnt from the trials and deployments.
