Cayin Showcases Sophisticated Networked Digital Signage Solution at IS China 2007

Cayin Technology will introduce an advanced networked digital signage solution at Integrated Systems China 2007 (Hall E, Booth 15), held from April 25th to 27th.

PRLog (Press Release)Apr 12, 2007 – In response to increasing demands from marketing and communication professionals for the out-of-home digital media in China, Cayin Technology will introduce an advanced networked digital signage solution at Integrated Systems China 2007 (Hall E, Booth 15), held from April 25th to 27th. Cayin’s sophisticated digital signage solution includes web-based media player (SMP-WEBPLUS), powerful content management server (CMS), and professional remote management tools for administrators to easily manage larger-scale deployment.

Cayin always pioneers the latest technologies and concepts to its products portfolio. At Integrated Systems China 2007, Cayin will showcase the powerful web-based digital signage media player, SMP-WEBPLUS. It supports most popular web languages, such as HTML, JavaScript, Adobe Flash, DHTML, CSS, etc., and most popular image file formats, audio/video codec, and, furthermore, HD (High Definition) videos, such as MPEG 1/2/4, AVI, WMV 7/8/9, WMA, DivX, MP3, RAW DV, JPG, GIF, etc.

In addition to video, images, animations, and texts, SMP-WEBPLUS can easily extend to provide interactive services incorporating with external devices such as touch screen, keyboard, keypad, or mouse. Users can also choose to rotate the multimedia content clockwise or counter clockwise to display both portrait and landscape presentations. SMP-WEBPLUS is the best platform for those applications which require presenting advanced and interactive multimedia contents.

SMP-WEBPLUS is an open-structure and scalable platform for easy integration. This solution can be deployed either as a networked standalone solution or under server-client structure over wired or wireless IP network, and can integrate easily with customers’ existing network facilities. Users can also control the volume remotely.

With Cayin’s CMS server, administrators can use a web-based management tool to manage multimedia content and system settings of all digital signage players located at different sites centrally and remotely. CMS also features for its access right management. Administrators can use authentication and access control functions to assign authorization to each user to manage respective groups of players.    

Digital signage, also known as narrowcasting, is a multimedia platform which distributes rich information in abundant formats (HTML, Flash, videos, texts, and pictures) over IP network to digital displays or projectors. Replacing or enhancing traditional signs, digital signage offers a flexible and an interactive communication platform to promote, inform, educate, and entertain specific audiences at specific time in a variety of out-of-home occasions.
