The agreement is structured that KT technology will formally partner with Crystal Touch who have been appointed to develop a suite of kiosk software applications which will include a kiosk content management system, remote monitoring application and a control panel suite which will manage overall kiosks deployed in the filed. The products are to be launched throughout 2007 as part of KT Technology drive into solidifying itself as a total solutions provider for kiosk concepts.
The first application due in March 2007 will be a remote monitoring application and control panel, the product will be launched under the brand “Remote Kiosk Medic” and will be part of standardization in all kiosk terminals manufactured and sold by KT Technology. It is expected in that in the autumn the finalized version of kiosk content management system under the brand Insight Kiosk Software will be launched to market.
Ken Larsen General Manager at KT Technology had this to say about the venture “We are extremely pleased to be partnering together with Crystal Touch who have demonstrated to us that there technical development team headed up by Richard McIntyre have both sound knowledge, a fantastic understanding and a healthy interest in kiosks and self service we are confident that we will have a group of products which will spearhead both KT technology and our partner Crystal Touch into becoming a complete total solutions provider for any type of kiosk concept, whether it be a stand alone internet terminal or a full transactional kiosk”.
KT technology who recently received funding in the form of a new investor partner, is quickly establishing itself, and in 2006 saw it open its first satellite office in Copenhagen, plans to open our new offices in London are already in the pipeline and this solely coincides with our introduction of kiosk software and support services”. Mr Larsen concluded by saying that it is KT Technology goal to push itself into a driving position and by means of investment and product development our reaching for high set targets it has for the following year.
